Our Blended Microbiology Training Programme prepares individuals for careers in diagnostic microbiology laboratories through immersive, hands-on learning. Designed for those with little or no prior laboratory experience, the programme supports progression into roles such as Associate Practitioner, Trainee Biomedical Scientist.
Participants develop practical skills through high-volume bench work, structured laboratory workflows, and competency-based training delivered over a focused timeframe.
Training is led by experienced, state-registered Biomedical Scientists who provide close supervision, guidance, and formal assessment at our specialist training centres. On completion, learners will produce a comprehensive competency portfolio demonstrating their technical abilities, professional growth, and readiness to enter or advance within a specialist laboratory setting.
