IBMS, Laboratory Assistant Training and Microbiology Courses in Wolverhampton and The West Midlands

We hosted out first Open Day on the 21st September 2019, and it was a smashing success!

We'd like to begin thanking everyone who made it to the event; it would not have been a success without each and everyone of you.

The day kicked off with meeting all our guests, chatting and networking with one another and the LabMedExpert staff

Then it proceeded to a quick presentation given by our Training Coordinator, Mr. Olukunle Akanbi, and Training Officer, Mrs Sharara Sanai.

We were fortunate to have some of our past trainees present to brief us on their time with LabMedExpert, how they benefited from the trainings received and also a little bit about their work life after their training.

Thereafter, it was open to our prospective trainees to ask any questions they were pondering on about LabMedExpert – a lot of topics were covered such as future trainings, financing the programmes, employment opportunities, syllabus of current programmes.

Safe to say that this was a productive discussion.

We then revealed our brand-new portfolio that successful trainees would receive on completion of their training programme

We ended the day with a quick tour of our laboratory facilities giving prospective trainees a chance to envision themselves in the space they would be working in. Prospective trainees met some current trainees working in the lab and had the opportunities to ask them about the course, see our training in action and get an insight into what they would be doing

More socialising and lunch

It was pleasant to see people connecting with each other and bonding over their passion for histology.
